As a tribute to Native Americans, the Gambaros were honored by the invitation to present an exhibition of their works at the Centre Cultural Municipal in Frejus in September 1993. The exhibit featured 102 sculptures, wall hangings, and photographs. It was declared the most visited exhibition in the history of the cultural center. Phyllis Whitley curated the Exhibition. The photograph above, courtesy of Mr. Gambaro, was featured in posters and invitations for the event.
