Villa Aurelienne

On a small hill between the Reyran and Valescure valleys sits the Aurelienne Villa, a beautiful building of the palladien style. Gardens surrounding the Villa include remains of Roman aqueducts.Built in 1880 by J. H. Crawford, acquired by the Schweisguth family in 1913, Charles de Gaulle visited here on several occasions. The Villa became the property of the city of Frejus in 1988. It is currently used for cultural events and provides suites for visiting dignitaries.
